Frequently Asked Questions

Below are most of the “Frequently Asked Questions” that people ask when considering studying with CHE. If you can’t find the answer to your question below – please contact us directly on Chat.
At the beginning of the course you will be taught study skills and how to manage your time effectively and how to fit your studies around your life. In addition to attending lectures you will also have assignments/tests you will need to revise for and complete.

There is also outside reading around the topics you are learning from recorded lectures and twice monthly live zoom tutorials that you will need to attend. You will receive the tutorial dates at the start of the year so you can plan your attendance accordingly. The tutorials are recorded and posted in your student portal so you can catch up on the content if you cannot attend in person.

This “your course” and we want it to be enthusiasm driven. Your passion and enthusiasm for Homeopathy will be the driving force behind how many hours you choose to invest each week.

In the second year you will need to attend student clinics, again all of the dates are given to you at the start of the year and you must attend these sessions live. You will also have to account for seeing your own patients and associated supervision.
Assessment is continual over the course of the academic year. At the start of the year you will receive an assessment calendar showing you what assessments you will receive and when along with the submission date so you can plan your time accordingly.

You will need to pass all assessments to graduate and move onto your next year of studies.
Yes, if once you have completed your current year of study you need to take time off for personal reasons, you can defer your studies for a minimum of one year and return to your studies picking up where you left.

If you require more than one year away you will need to apply to have an extension of absence which will then need to be approved by the CHE faculty board.

We understand that things in life can happen and sometimes students need to take time out of their studies.

If you require more than 1 year away you will need to meet with one of the principals to make the necessary arrangements. You may need to resit the previous year or restart completely depending on the stage you were before you left and how long you will be away from your homeopathic studies.
We understand that most people wanting to train as a homeopath will have been out of education for some time. Every person who is accepted onto one of our training courses is interviewed and assessed as a unique individual. Life experiences are just as important as Academic achievements.

The training does require essay writing and the use of academic language/writing/referencing but there are lectures available to teach these skills.

You have a dedicated “Learning Support Tutor” who will help and support you throughout your Homeopathic learning journey. They are there and available every teaching weekend as well as throughout the week.
