During the course you’ll look at health holistically, uncover how disease manifests in people and learn how to use homeopathic remedies to counteract the process.
You’ll develop case-taking skills for both acute and chronic cases – learning the classical approach as the basis for chronic case analysis and prescribing.
Over the year you’ll gain a vital and solid base in homeopathic principles and philosophy. You’ll study well known homeopathic remedies (Materia Medica) and begin to understand case taking and analysis.
You’ll also learn medical sciences alongside the homeopathic syllabus, giving you a broad knowledge of the body’s systems and homeopathic remedies.

Syllabus & Qualifications
Once you have successfully completed the Foundation Course you will be awarded with the certificate of attendance upon completion from the Centre for Homeopathic Education (CHE).

Some students enjoy the course so much, and find such a deep connection with homeopathy, that they decide to take their studies further. If you find you are one of these students, there is an option to transfer to the practitioner programme during the foundation course.
Modules
Over the year, you’ll gain a vital foundation in homeopathic principles, Homeopathic Philosophy and classical methodology. You will begin to study Anatomy & Physiology and practitioner development. Core to the syllabus is the Materia Medica, the collected body of knowledge on homeopathic remedies. You will also start your Clinical Training with acute & chronic case taking and also as an observer of live case taking with patients.
You’ll explore the history of homeopathy – from Hahnemann to the present day – and study the philosophy behind it. You’ll also be introduced to the repertory (the homeopath’s index to the symptoms of diseases and their remedies) and learn how to take both an acute and chronic case.
