Join a community of people just like you as you embark on a new exciting journey to become a fully qualified homeopath.

You’ll boost your knowledge and understanding of homeopathy whilst gaining all the skills, training and education you need to become a practising homeopath. You’ll study homeopathic philosophy and develop an understanding of the different approach to healing that homeopathy represents.

You’ll also study the basics of human anatomy and physiology to enable a full understanding of the conditions that affect the individual, and how homeopathy works to counteract them.

Your fellow students and our CHE staff will offer you continued motivation and encouragement throughout the course, supporting your learning & creating an empowering learning environment.

You’ll also start working with real patients during your second year, allowing you to put your training into practice at our CHE student clinic.

During your third year you will begin to build your own practice alongside your training whilst under supervision and with student insurance. By the time you’ve finished your fourth & final year you’ll have built up your own practice, and will have everything you need to begin your journey as a fully qualified homeopath.

This course is fully accredited by the Society of Homeopaths, and CHE graduates can join their professional register.

Once you have successfully completed the part-time Licentiate course you will be awarded with the professional homeopathic practitioner qualification – the Licentiate of the Centre for Homeopathic Education (LCHE).

Over the year, you’ll gain a vital foundation in homeopathic principles, Homeopathic Philosophy and classical methodology. You will begin to study Anatomy & Physiology and practitioner development. Core to the syllabus is the Materia Medica, the collected body of knowledge on homeopathic remedies. You will also start your Clinical Training with acute & chronic case taking and also as an observer of live case taking with patients.

Your second year will introduce you to integrated homeopathy, our specialist approach to the subject and a blend of both classical and practical homeopathy. Our method includes new approaches, clinical skills and the specialised treatment of specific diseases.

Each year on from here you’ll expand and develop your knowledge in these areas, leading to an in-depth understanding of both classical and practical modern approaches to homeopathy.

At the student clinic, you become an active case taker, seeing your own clients and undertaking case analysis in your clinic group. You’ll also begin supervision with an external supervisor who’ll be an additional learning support as you begin to build your homeopathic practice.

In this fascinating module you’ll expand your knowledge of the Materia Medica, building on everything learnt in year one and two. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to apply for the part-time Practitioner course. Our current students have a variety of qualifications, some already have a degree, some are practitioners in other fields and others have started out with no formal qualifications.
What they all have in common is a passion for helping others and the motivation to become a practising homeopath. As long as you share the same passion, motivation and are over 18 we welcome your application.
No matter what background you come to us with, we’ll provide you with ample support on your journey to become a licensed homeopath.

Below are most of the “Frequently Asked Questions” that people ask when considering studying with CHE. If you can’t find the answer to your question below – please contact us directly on Chat.
At the beginning of the course you will be taught study skills and how to manage your time effectively and how to fit your studies around your life. In addition to attending lectures you will also have assignments/tests you will need to revise for and complete.

There is also outside reading around the topics you are learning in class and monthly zoom tutorials you need to attend. You will receive the tutorial dates at the start of the year so you can plan your attendance accordingly.

The tutorials are recorded and posted in your student portal so you can catch up on the content if you cannot attend in person.

This “your course” and we want it to be enthusiasm driven. Your passion and enthusiasm for Homeopathy will be the driving force behind how many hours you choose to invest each week.
Assessment is continual over the course of the academic year. At the start of the year you will receive an assessment calendar showing you what assessments you will receive and when along with the submission date so you can plan your time accordingly.

You will need to pass all assessments to graduate and move onto your next year of studies.
Yes, if once you have completed your current year of study you need to take time off for personal reasons, you can defer your studies for a minimum of one year and return to your studies picking up where you left.

If you require more than one year away you will need to apply to have an extension of absence which will then need to be approved by the CHE faculty board.

We understand that things in life can happen and sometimes students need to take time out of their studies.
We understand that most people wanting to train as a homoeopath will have been out of education for some time. Every person who is accepted onto one of our training courses is interviewed and assessed as a unique individual. Life experiences are just as important as Academic achievements.

The training does require essay writing and the use of academic language/writing/referencing but there are lectures available to teach these skills.
